Geetanjali is the story of two twin sisters Geeta and Anjali. Geeta is a music teacher and Anjali a famous dancer who sometimes goes abroad for performances. Her organisers P.D. & Makhnani smuggle drugs through the musical instruments which Anjali does not know.

Sagar is a professor who has come to his sister's place to spend his holiday. There he meets Geeta, they fall in love and get married. In course of time they have a child. Geeta is of very suspicious nature. Whenever Sagar comes late she suspects that he must be having some affair with his female students.

Kavery is a flirt type of a girl who thinks that she can pass her exams by flirting with Prof. Sagar. One evening when Sagar is in college library, Kaveri comes dressed immodestly and behaves badly. Sagar slaps her and throws her out. Kaveri reports to the Principal that Sagar tried to rape her in the library. Sagar is suspended till further enquiry.

Geeta who had always suspected Sagar, leaves the house and goes to stay with her sister. Anjali knew Sagar well and did not believe Geeta. She goes to Geeta's house as Geeta to find out the facts.
